Inori's Digital Garden

Moroccan Riad

Welcome to my digital garden. It’s currently under construction and being organized, so please forgive any chaos you might encounter.

I call my garden Riad. Riad (رياض) originates from traditional Moroccan architecture and means “garden” in Arabic. I stumbled upon this type of courtyard architecture online and became deeply fascinated. Depending on its size, the courtyard might have a fountain, sofas, tables and chairs, or even a swimming pool. But I prefer the kind of small and simple space like the one on the cover—feeling the sunlight pouring down from above, shutting out the noise of the outside world, leisurely enjoying the tranquil hours with a cup of tea and a book.

For me, such a space is not only an embodiment of architectural aesthetics, but also symbolizes a way of life—keeping a quiet corner for oneself in a busy world. This is also why I created this digital garden, hoping it can become a private space for thinking, recording, and growing.

I hope to have the opportunity to visit a real Riad someday.
